2022 – A big year for Spray Tanning?

2021 is hopefully going to be an exciting year for everyone in the world of tanning. With new product developments in the pipeline and signs of growth in the industry, there has never been a better time to get involved in spray tanning.

Throughout 2020/2021 we witnessed a change in people’s attitudes to fake tan. Feedback from customers suggests that wearing a fake tan is more socially acceptable than ever before… which is great news for everyone involved.

Spray tan practitioners who have taken the time to take accredited training and perfect their craft are being rewarded with multiple repeat clients and glowing reviews on social media and review sites.

The days of a cheap £10 tans are hopefully over as clients begin to appreciate the amount of training and effort that goes into applying the perfect tan. Practitioners should be proud of their skills and charge accordingly. Personally, I would keep well clear of someone offering a full body spray tan for under £15 – remember, you get what you pay for 😉

Tanning products and their ingredients have come a long way

with new regulations ensuring that products are made to the highest standards. As you know, Solspa is made right here in the United Kingdom. Last year saw a flood of cheap imported tans from overseas, but the resulting tans were very poor. Is it really worth risking your salon’s reputation for the sake of a few quid?

We are looking forward to an amazing 2022 – because let’s face it, lockdown hasn’t been great for anyone!

It’s time to plan for success…
